City of Erie Property Tax Bills Have Been Mailed

January 18th, 2012, 8:35 AM

According to a GoErie article, the City of Erie has mailed the tax bills for the year.  If you live in the City, your home's assessed value is determined by the County Bureau of Assessment.  According to this publication from the County, you have forty (40) days from the date your bill was mailed to appeal your assessed value.  If you would like to discuss the possibility of filing an appeal, contact Erie Attorney Adam Williams.

If you have not received your bill by the end of January, you should contact the City's tax department.
